PARCHMENT STREET SUMMER PARTY

The July Parchment Street Summer Party generated a great atmosphere despite the threat of bad weather. We were lucky that the rain forecast for the afternoon happened in the morning and the afternoon was dry and sunny for the most part.

It was good to see so many people wandering down the street and enjoying the different offerings from the shops and stalls. The shops had joined in with the 60s theme, with dressing up and decorating their shop windows and some were selling 60s paraphernalia!

The music from the two bands, Stone Cold Sober and Jazz Summit attracted a good crowd and were top quality. So was the food from Cafe Centro, Bengal Sage and The Winchester Royal and the beer from The Corner House's beer stall.

We were excited to launch our Kingsbridge Sofa at the summer party and we had some very positive reactions to it. As a result we have decided to extend the launch through to the end of August which means that any sales during this time will be at the special summer party price.
